► Website Renewal
Is the update to the official website still being worked on?
On the last update roadmap video, it was said that the server will be renewed. May we know the current status of the updates you have yet to implement on the website?
Dev Response We appreciate your enthusiasm about the renewal of the official Closers World website.
The newly redesigned website is on its way, with improved functions and appearance. Our plan is to update it by May 2023, and if there is any news, we will notify you in a separate notice. |

► Contribution Shop & Housing/’My Room’ Concerns
Can the Contribution Stop items be updated?
Certain things are no longer worth purchasing (examples are +12 gear booster, +13 gear booster, Busan’s materials, and Hyperclocked Equalizer).
Can the Housing rewards list be updated?
Dev Response You’ll soon be able to get the items that you need through the updated Contribution shop and My Room rewards.
To begin, the closest schedule for the Contribution shop renewal is planned for sometime in April 2023. The precise schedule for updates will be shared in later announcements. |

► Dungeons/Sectors
1) Do you have plans to reduce the amount of dungeon’s entry and multiply the rewards according to the amount of the entry?
There are too many things to do in this game now. People with a lot of characters had to play nonstop for a whole day or two to complete all of the weekly dungeons.
2) How about removing the repeatable quests and increasing the dungeon rewards?
Or make the dungeon drop specific materials that can be exchanged on repeatable quest (similar to the Doctor’s Research Note quest that need ‘Gremory’s Research Note’ from Gremory’s Central Laboratory dungeon).
Certain repeatable quests (mostly Gremory dungeon quests) are made to give us more materials that we need. However, it’s a bit of a hassle to move to ‘Planar Gate’ when everything is on ‘Fantasy World: Dream Theater <<<Reverse>>>’. I’m sure that many players do not like to waste their time collecting materials from quests.
3) The Purification Sector, Tindalos, and Harpas should be able to have more than one run without Elite or Platinum.
Yod and Nitocris only have two tiers, so one run a day makes sense. It also makes sense that the sectors found under Contamination Hell, OF – Surface/Reversed, and Yod’s Sea only have one run a day because of their unique situations.
4) Can we please get an official statement on dungeon entry ticket refund policy upon encountering bugs, disconnects, and other issues?
But in my case, Astaroth, the final stage boss, did not appear at the end, and when I sent a ticket with logs and a video explaining what happened, I got a long email about the problem and a final “no” for a refund. In the end, these situations both halt the game progression.
5) Can we gain the ability to open the pet menu when within dungeons and in the raid lobby?
Pet switching is needed quite often these days, so you should be able to do it whenever you want.
6) Do you have plans to update Endless Elevator content?
Some of the rewards are kind of outdated and it’s not that worth to do.
7) Instead of per-entry sectors, why not allow unlimited entries to sectors that do not offer rewards?
But only after you’ve claimed, say, one or two rewards (such as what we can see on Gremory sectors or purification). Then it will lock up, and you’ll have to wait until the next reset.
Dev Response 1) We are currently preparing improvements to the rewards and/or entry requirements for a number of dungeons, such as Dragon’s Execution Ground, Gremory’s Dimensional Gate Sector, and so on. We appreciate your patience while you wait for further updates.
2) Thank you for giving your thoughts in regards with the repeatable quests and dungeon rewards. Please be aware that we will conduct an internal review of the situation.
3) Thank you for your valuable suggestion. Restructuring of dungeons, however, could have unintended consequences like increased abuse, so we’d like to keep things as they are for the time being. I hope you are able to understand this point, which is that it is challenging to have adjustments made so long as there are no flaws or problems that affect the gameplay.
4) We apologize for any disruptions or difficulties this may have caused. We understood that the number of entries is reduced due to issues such as bugs or disconnections during play. We later posted an announcement regarding this (Dungeon Issues Update) informing users to submit their logs through Customer Support.
Users who are experiencing this issue could submit their latest “.log” file located in your CLOSERS/Log folder and with other details through Customer Support. Once the complete data has been gathered, we will provide a free pass ticket. We appreciate your patience as the development team is continuously working to prevent any inconvenience caused by bugs or disconnections.
5) We understand that it would be convenient to be able to use the pet menu in dungeons and the raid lobby, but due to the complexity of the systems involved, we are unable to provide a firm answer at this time. We ask for your understanding.
6) We regret that there haven’t been any updates to the Endless Elevator content in quite some time. We acknowledge that the current level of reward requires effort and resources not just due to the difficulty of the material but also due to the process of gaining it.
The development team has verified that many players who regularly play in Endless Elevator content and receive rewards have lower combat power than the current main content level, while players with strong combat power are accumulating rewards relatively easily. Also, some of the rewards have been confirmed as being beneficial in the game’s current state.
Given the various TCP levels of the players and the difficulty of obtaining the rewards, it is incredibly challenging to renew the reward at this point. In the future, we will consider the placement of the Endless Elevator contents as well as the dungeon redesign.
7) Thank you for sharing your idea, and this is understood to be a recommendation to fulfill the dungeon clear event requirements. Please understand that we must impose a dungeon entry limit in order to prevent abuse and to maintain farming balance.
In the meantime, you can contact Customer Support if you run into any problems due to bugs, etc., and we will assess the situation and potentially provide a dungeon free pass ticket. |

► Crafting
1) Since we now have the new enhancement rate (100% up to +13), can we get a craftable +13 booster?
It is somewhat inefficient to craft +10 and then do the enhance again, and I see no reason why a +13 booster shouldn’t be craftable.
2) I don’t know if this is already planned, but Busan, Beezlebub, Yod’s Sea (chest crafting), Centum, and Asmodeus should all have their endgame gear crafting nerfed because they are all out of date.
Centum You could probably leave them alone for now, but the rest should be nerfed since BB and Asmo are outclassed by Belphegor, Closers World is about to get Beast King, and Busan and Yod’s Sea are severely outclassed by Belph, Searing Winds, and even Centum and Asmo.”
Dev Response 1) We appreciate your feedback. Currently, there are no plans to implement the reward design that is obtained by repeated craft, such as Gear Booster +10. However, any future developments in this regard will be announced.
2) An update is scheduled for April to allow players to obtain the ‘Endgame Gear of the Content’ after completing the quest for the old content. We’re hoping this will make playing Closers easier and more enjoyable for Agents. |

► Items/Materials
1) Can you turn Essence of the Seabreeze, Promptitude bug lump, and Hell fire bug lump into useful material in the same way that you did with the Reanimator?
These are examples of useless materials in the game’s current content.
2) Are there any plans to bring back the Custom Parts – Circuit Distortion as the content to obtain it has since been discontinued?
3) Is there a way to find out when the server might get the QoL changes for converting centum bugs to fortress of night and the full gear box for the Asmodeus prequest?
4) Since the 3rd (Special Agent) and 4th (Task Force) promotions have been going on for a long time, it’s time to reduce the amount of materials they need.
It will help people who play more than one character but don’t have enough money or materials for 3rd or 4th promotion.
5) We can currently store a maximum of 30 Awakening Capsules through right-click consuming the item. Please increase the limit.
6) Will Naddic provide content that is actually worth going over and beyond for maxed enhance gear?
We’ve seen what KR has in store for the new Babel Tower. The rewards for something that suggests 80m+ TCP are fairly meager. Why not create side content that provides resources?
Dev Response 1) Giving old farming materials new alternative use is a challenging topic to explore, thus we avoid this strategy as much as possible because it is difficult to think about how to offer fresh value to existing farming resources. This is so that the design won’t be force you to play older contents as more top farming contents are added. Furthermore, bringing extra value to old farming materials could force you to replay old content over and over.
2) The Custom Parts – Circuit Distortion is provided as a show-off of the (Old) Team Challenge, and there are no plans to make it available through other channels for the time being.
3) That is not planned, however we will evaluate the possibility in terms of smoother content entry and character development speed.
4) We are working on an update that will reduce the required period for the fourth promotion. The relevant announcement will be made in the near future.
5) Your suggestion is appreciated. We’ll keep that in mind for potential implementation.
6) A new area (New Seoul Branch Command Center) and the conquest program are coming in August 2023, as you may have seen in the Roadmap video. This will have a total of 30 stages by its difficulty, so hopefully this will be an opportunity to deliver appealing special rewards to all Agents!

► Past Dev QnA Concerns
1) When presenting the new Q&A, could the team at least go back to some of the old ones from the last Q&A and give an update?
I’m referring to the topics currently being discussed or concluded so that some of us will know what to discuss about next. Some examples are the updates of the Divine Battle, the improvements to Trinkets and Amplifiers, and updates regarding to the Uncommon Enhancement Transfer Device.
2) With the recent release of the Ash subjugation program, as well as the short time between this raid and the Beast King raid, this no longer appears to be the case.
Also, in addition to this point, new players will be unable to access the new raids when they are released.

Question: Is having multiple characters for farming the intended approach?
Dev response: We think that the amount of time spent on the different parts of the game could lead to gaining better rewards, and this is especially true when using more than one character.
Please think of each character as one of the many different pieces of content that are included in Closers, and consider that playing a number of them is one of the more enjoyable and gratifying ways to enjoy Closers.
3) In the Purification Sectors, it was said that the item that serves as the key to get in will be taken away. This is false even in KR where it has not been completely removed.

Question: Is there any help provided to newer players to help them proceed through dungeons as their gears are prerequisites to the latest raids and dungeons?
Dev response: In the Purification Sectors, we are going to take away the item that serves as the entrance key. Thank you for your insightful comments. Please keep in mind that the actual update to the World server will take a while to finish.
We are quite grateful for the thoughtful concerns regarding the new players’ gear farming. In the near future, there are plans to implement an update that will make it possible to receive a full set of gear that is equivalent to those earned by completing legion commander quests. We have the hope that new players will have an easier time overcoming the hurdles.
Dev Response 1) Thank you for proposing this to us. Although it would be challenging to revisit each topic, be assured that we are taking into account and evaluating each Agent’s entry, whether it was submitted to the old Dev Q&A or the new one. While it may be challenging to provide a concrete answer in some cases, you can rest assured that we will keep you informed of any developments.
2) Depending on the player’s preferences, there may be differences, such as playing with only one character or playing multiple characters. Ultimately, we strive to reduce as many hurdles as possible so that everyone may enjoy Closers to the fullest, and we also promote content that allows you to play as many unique characters as possible.
3) Rather than merely altering the item “key”, the final equipment reward for the content has been added when the quest is completed. This will allow the content to be passed at the same time as the quest is completed and encouraging further character development. We will also have the same answer for a similar entry question. |

► DirectX 11
I believe that Closers World will receive the Direct X11 update very soon, but my question is how it will be implemented when it is still in development on the Korean server?
Massive frame drops made the game unplayable for weeks after it came out on the Korea server, and it’s still not done as there are plans to improve the quality of the graphics.
Dev Response We want to release the Direct X11 update alongside the additional improvements that Closers Korea service has had.
We are doing everything we can to improve the overall playability of Closers. |

► Crew
1) Confirming if there are plans to update on how crew points are earned
2) Suggesting to include other sectors such as “Machine King’s Strategy Analysis Lab”, “Battle Program: Another Lucifer”, or “The Holy Place of Ocean King” to the crew missions
Dev Response 1) In order to achieve positive outcome for the Crew feature, we are working on an update for Crew points and Crew rewards. More information will be supplied in a future announcement.
2) Thank you for your suggestion. We are already planning an update for new sectors to be added in Crew Missions. Be on the lookout for this in upcoming updates. |

► Localization
1) Some of the user interface elements and terminology used on the Korean server don’t convert well to the World server. Will there be any adjustments made so that they do make sense on the World server?
Here are some of the examples where the World server differs from the Korean server:
– On the Korea server, the number of stamina consumed is shown next to the level requirement in the Dungeon Select menu, but on the World server, it is just an empty section.
– On the World server, the letter “M” in the equipment border means “Psi,” but on the Korea server, it means “Magical.”
– The letter “C” stands for “Combination” from a full body costume.
– The character UI says “Receiver”, but when you hover the item, it says “Amplifier”.
– In the game guide website, Crew is indicated as ‘Circle’. (note: we have updated the game guide into ‘Crew’ and removed the word ‘Circle’)
– Not to mention that there is a QoL change on Rare/Unique costumes in the Korean server as well, which shows the first letter in the top corner of the costume. However, since Rare is now called “Signature,” will it stay as R there and not S?
2) How about a language switcher/option for the next time we merge servers so that there isn’t as much of a language barrier and everyone who was merged in can keep their names?
Dev Response 1) In the case of UI and terminology localization, we are improving gradually with each update, but we realize that it takes time to get things just right and that you may not notice the progress right away.
Please accept our apologies if you encountered any localization issues while playing on the Closers World Server, and it would be greatly appreciated if you could report them to Customer Support or with our Closers Player Council so that we can either fix them immediately or include them on the list to be updated during the scheduled maintenance.
We will continue to provide more appropriate and localized updates and demonstrate our efforts as a result.
2) There are currently no plans for a server merge or additional language support in the future. If there is any new information, we will notify in a separate notice. |

► PNA
1) Could developers consider the possibility of making the mutant tab an account-wide section?
Because, at least from my player’s point of view, doing everything over again in another character is pretty tiring, this is a request that would make things a little easier
2) For normal PNA, the update requirements for Offensive, Defensive, and Utility should be nerfed.
Because that’s still ridiculously expensive for no reason, even with Special, Amplifier, and now Mutant PNAs.
3) I also think that the requirements for updating your Special strains should be nerfed.
Because that’s still very expensive. By lowering the requirements for the Normal and Special PNA strain updates, we’ll have more resources to use to buff our Mutant strains.
4) Mutant PNA be considered for the whole account.
Have it locked by level and quest, but once the quest is completed, have the already-established levels for each boss type carry over to other characters on the account. As said, it’s hard enough to level up each strain solo, so this will help some extent.
5) Can we have all the mutations damage % activated on stat display instead of only showing 0% for the others?
This is important for raids where you can’t even open the Mutant Menu. Most of them use auto-apply, so why not just have all mutations at once? Include the passives on each mutation bar, which should also be on all the time in dungeons like Ex DEG and future content.
6) We still do not have PNA Exp factored into the weekend buffs
Dev Response 1) The development is underway to change the mutation level to account bound. More information will be given in a future notice.
2) It is part of the content which will be updated in April.
3) It is also a part of the content that will be coming in April.
4) This is in development and working it out in a positive note. We’ll notify you as soon as we have news to share with you.
5) Due to ‘mutation optimization’ based on mutation level, it is hard to apply all mutations to stats.
6) We will consider adding the PNA Exp to the weekend buff. Please keep an eye out for future event announcements. |

► For New Players
More quality of life updates and player support beyond what is currently available and adjust the content of the World server to fit its current state.
Even though TCP gaps between new and up-to-date players are to be expected, there has been a constant influx of rushed players into the 12-player raids since Beelzebub came out. This makes it harder to clear these raids, and a new one is expected to come out next week.
There have been a number of ways to help newer gear, such as jump boxes and bug lump converters, but what Naddic has in store hasn’t been enough to solve the problem. The amount we receive is also invariable to KR, and it’s tough not to compare servers because content difficulty is not adjusted downwards to response to these kinds of situations.
Dev Response As noted in an earlier query, an update is planned for April to obtain the ‘Endgame Gear of the Content’ when clearing the quest of the old content. It is our sincere desire that this will make your experience with Closers more enjoyable and efficient. Please wait for the announcement for more details. |

► Skills
1) Are there any plans or ideas to make skill cooldowns less dependent on ping or make them client-based?
2) There are still no forced conditional triggers for a lot of skills from different characters.
Are there any plans to add them to skills that provide DPS but don’t have them?
3) Pet skill being activatable in dungeon with “B” instead of putting on a skill slot or have a function where it autoactivates so it’s not wasting a skill slot.
Dev Response 1) Cooldown and other features that could be abused or benefit in abuse are processed through the server side. We plan to keep things as they are in the future by taking into consideration the abuse problem that has been occurring elsewhere recently through game client falsification. We ask for your understanding that this choice was made to prevent abuse.
2) We believe it is one of the most enjoyable aspects of Closers battles.
3) It is difficult to deliver a clear answer whereas reorganizing the UI structure and improving hotkey customization must come initially. If there is any relevant information, we will notify in a separate notice. |

► Enhancement Transfer Device
1) Please consider an urgent change to make it a 100% free transfer at -1, as suggested in the previous Q&A.
The uncommon version can only be bought once a week, which doesn’t make sense since you can’t sell it, and the premium version has never been for sale (except for a 50% discount on Black Friday). As the gear replacement rate is higher than it was a few years ago, it can be hard to protect high enhancement levels. The item is also less likely to be used by newer players due to content-bridging or less min-maxing involved.
2) Will there be an enhance transfer device that doesn’t have a -1 penalty?
I and other players who try to keep their enhances up to date would rather not have to re-enhance to make up for getting new gear. Before you say no or that you will consider it, please understand that this is a long-overdue request.
Dev Response We are mindful of different viewpoints regarding the utility of enhancements and the difficulty in obtaining Uncommon Enhancement Transfer Devices.
However, as stated in the previous Dev Q&A, due to circumstances, we are unable to support it at this time.
We will look into other ways to provide and add any benefits, including promotional aspects, such as the previous Enhancement 100 times package.
We hope you’ll have patience with us as we try to explain that modifying the game’s fundamental mechanics is a complex field that might take a long time and a lot of research. |

► Gamepad/Controller
1) Is it possible to set at least Item Quick Slot 9 and Item Quick Slot 0 to the gamepad?
It would be nice if other options that are currently on default could be modified for Gamepad.
2) Will Closers get more Controller support in the future?
The Selfie Mode, A/B slots, and keys for 9 and 0 are not usable with the Gamepad HUD / with a Controller.
It isn’t even possible to bind those Keys to a different button in the settings, despite the fact that a regular Controller has plenty of unused buttons (like the D-Pad or the right analog stick)
Dev Response We appreciate your inquiries. We are aware of the difficult nature of using the controller and are looking into ways to make it more user-friendly, considering that it will take some time to develop new features that can cater to the needs of the players. If any relevant information becomes available, we will make a separate announcement. |

► Enhancement
1) Why does it cost so much fuel to enhance at slightly higher levels each time when there is such a large likelihood that there would be no change at all?
It’s one reason why it’s hard for a lot of free-to-play players to get to higher tiers of enhancements, especially since the max level of enhancements keeps going up.
2) Are there any plans to make enhancement easier, either by lowering the number of fuels needed per try or by increasing the no-fail enhancement beyond +15?
Which in my opinion is outdated, with how high the max enhancement is getting. The latest content for the Korean version of the game “Conquest Tower” has very high requirements and is almost impossible to complete without spending money to improve your character through enhancement.
3) Is there still no consideration to reduce the counter needed to activate the enhance voucher?
The question itself is self-explanatory. 250 is too high.
4) The original cap of +17 and system overhaul made it appear possible for free-to-play players to achieve the highest possible enhancement level, but new level cap expansions have changed that sentiment.
When you replace gear, you lose any gains you made, and it’s hard to get the materials without spending money.
I disagree with Naddic’s approach to the issue of alt characters, as they demand the same amount of effort to maintain as your primary character.”
Dev Response Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences with the enhancement system.
Similar to how we mitigated the period of the Enhancement Buff Voucher before, we will make an effort to lessen the burden of enhancement while maintaining the game’s overall balance.
All your inputs with regard to the enhancement have been taken into consideration, and we are looking into ways to make it more user-friendly and gratifying.

► Closers Updates Concerns/Inquiries
1) Aside from KR’s “Brand New Closers” update and the contents of the letter, is there anything else that can be shared that is being worked on?
In PD’s letter, he says that he is committed to making the needed changes and improvements.
Dev Response We are grateful that you are interested in the new Closers content that will be released. Please watch the Roadmap video which was published earlier today and shows a range of exciting new update releases that are coming soon. This will provide you with additional details regarding the upcoming contents.
When significant new information becomes available, we will do all in our power to ensure that all Agents are informed of it as quickly as possible. |

► Operations
While the frequency of emergency maintenances has decreased, I’d like to know if anyone checks updates for issues before they are deployed to the live server.
Dev Response We are putting a lot of effort into providing a stable service through multiple verification processes, with managers and the department in charge. We’ll keep doing everything we can to make sure we’re improving and reducing the need for emergency maintenance. |

► PvP
1) When will the newer characters be able to take part in PvP?
Mirae and Cheolsu Kim are still not eligible for PvP regardless of how long they have been released.
2) Are there any plans for PvP updates in the near future?
I’ve been playing PvP in this game since the beta, which makes me wonder why this mode is still in beta after all these years.
The rewards for playing aren’t very good, so the only reason to do so is out of pure curiosity. Balance is a mess, and some characters can kill an enemy with just two skills and their gear is powerful enough to do that. The matchmaking system puts the few new players who want to try it out against experienced players, who beat them up.

► Technical
Is it possible to get better netcode so we can play with less ping issues?
Due to area differences, ping issues effect both PVP and PVE.
Dev Response Since that the Global Server can be accessible from a variety of locations, including other countries, this is a potential issue. We have established a content delivery network (CDN) for the purpose of patch downloads so that you can access them from a nearby base location and continue playing the game without much inconvenience. Ping issues, for instance, can arise for reasons in addition to physical distance, such as changes in system setup, network latency, and the local environment of the user. We’ll be looking into and examining new approaches to give our Agents a more fluid gaming experience. |

► Closers Updates Concerns/Inquiries
1) How likely is it that Closers World server will merge with Korea or Japan server?
There will be language barriers, but at least the population will be bigger.
2) Are there any plans to allow players to use images from costumes from the costume locker in the future?
Just like it’s possible to use images from sig and unique sets from the dress room.
With most new sets requiring multiple accessories and the requirement to have at least two empty slots in the costume inventory, the costume inventory can quickly fill up.
The option to use images from the costume locker would be a nice addition to the game
Dev Response 1) There are several factors to take into account, including the language, the value of the goods, and differences in product sales methods because of legal aspects. As of right now, there are no plans in place to merge servers with other countries. What we can share with you is that we intend to work on making the existing global server more active. When will this server release new character Aeri?

► Costumes
1) When will this server release 3rd Unique (Wheel of Trinity) costume?
2) Full Set boxes from previous reruns of Washing Machine or even new releases should be updated whenever the costume set is shown again.
For example, the “Holy Night Bunny” costume set. I have a full set box that I want to use for my future character Aeri.
Dev Response 1) We are preparing to update it as soon as we can. Please stay tuned for any future announcements related to the 3rd unique costume.

Naddic needs to get with the sales team and revise the pricing to better fit global as its population is clearly not sustaining the current intended model.
Dev Response We are taking action in a variety of different methods, such as publicity to attract players and improvements so that both newly joined players and existing players may continue playing Closers without difficulty.
